If you want to play tennis at a competitive level, but not professional, then I found this to be a great racket. The grip is very durable and comfortable and the frame is solid. The resiliancy of the strings is anything you want as you can easily switch out the strings with this racket.

Quality was great. I am a mid level player that is getting back into the swing. I may have to restring for my own playing style. However, this is a great raquet. light with a big sweet spot.

Weight is a little heavy for my style, however its weight can be helpful if you need more power on your serve. Its string lose tension pretty quick, kind of disappointed.

I was very enthusiastic about learning to play tennis, and researched what racquet to buy. The Head Liquidmetal 8 racquet was just about the only racquet for beginners that was reviewed. Well that's not a problem, that's efficient because this is the only racquet to buy if you are a beginner who is serious about learning to play. From the moment I held it, I knew that it was fabulous and it hasn't let me down in actual play. I LOVE THIS RACQUET. I bought it through Amazon from Midwest Sports and also couldn't have been happier with the service.

This racquet is great for someone like me, who is athletic, but beginning tennis. It it responsive so I can try so shots as I improve, but it has good power behind it when I miss hit.

Having order the liquidmetal head Racquet from Midwest sport from America, i am very impressed of their service delivery. As promised, the item was delivered wwithin the agreed time frame and installed a level of confidence in me regarding purchase of product from countrys outside of the uk.. The product, on up to date usage, it's good, i have notice improvement in several aspect of my game and adequately designed to absorb shocks. all in all i am satisfied with the product and extremely satisfied with the service. Thanks Midwest sport..

at first i had a lot of difficulty with this racket because the sweet spot is smaller than with bigger, lighter rackets. however now that i have gotten used to it, i love it. the heaviness of the racket has helped my serve tremendously, making it much faster and lower. the one thing is, you can't be lazy about swinging it, you must make a full swing otherwise you will hit on the outer edge of the racket which doesn't have much bounce and you will hit into the net which is what i did constantly the first 3 times i played on it. this racket it great because it forces you to become a better tennis player, when you connect on the sweet spot with this racket it is amazing how fast and low the shot is. i highly recommend it just don't be discouraged at first because it is a lot different than beginner rackets, once you adjust your swing to the racket the results are awesome.

I haven't bought a new racket since high school tennis team (over 15 years ago) and treated myself to this racket. It is exactly what I would hope for in a racket! I am an intermediate player who serves and swings hard. This racket gives me an extra boost and good control... and it looks and feels cool! It's light yet substantial. I highly recommend it!

I have one HEAD Intelligence iTour racquet and two of these racquets and am currently looking to buy a third. It is a good all around racquet for intermediate players. Has a nice weight balance, but for beginners, you might want a lighter racquet (see Liquidmetal 8). This is a good racquet for those who love to volley like me because it is light enough to maneuver at the net, while not extremely light where you lose all of your power at the baseline. I wasn't too pleased with the built-in vibe-damp, so I bought a couple of extra vibe-damps and stuck one in each of my racquets. This made the racquet slightly more head-heavy, which helped my baseline game. I have an extremely short backswing, so the weight distribution of this racquet is perfect for my swing. Overall this is a really good racquet for beginners and most intermediate players. Try holding a racquet in a store first though and swing it around a couple of times to get a feel for it. Here is a link with more technical details on the racquet. [...]

Don't have time to write a long-long review. In all, it's a high quality racket, but not good for beginners as its size is relative small
