PRO BAND SPORTS Pro Band Kneedit BandReviewsMY SON-IN-LAW THOUGHT I WOULD GET SOME RELIEF WITH THESE UNITS, HOWEVER THEY ONLY ADDED ANOTHER PAIN THAT I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED BEFORE, AND THAT'S PATELLA PAIN. I WOULD GUESS ONLY ANOTHER OPERATION WILL SOLVE MY PROBLEM..... We both have the band it arm band for tennis elbow etc. and it works good. So I thought I would bet this for my wife who has knee problems. She says it does very good and less cumbersome than what she had before. Shipping was relatively fast and seller had good communication and price. Thanks My significant other did not like the way this feels at all. Although all of our friends wear these it just wasn't for him. The strap had nothing to do with the feel. He just didn't like the way it sat under his knee. Just be careful when purchasing this product. If your ok with the placement of the support then I would suggest buying it. If you are not comfortable with the idea then do not even bother. I have suffered on and off from knee pain when running for a few years now. It seems to act up most when training for marathons. I have tried a few different knee straps to treat the problem - ChoPat, Mueller, etc. This one is the worst. I liked the idea of the V-shaped rubberized brace that can help your knee track more accurately. The problem with this brace is that the strap has no elastic. It is single piece of velcro and has no stretch. Thus it is impossible to put it on correctly. You have to make it either too tight or too loose I don't understand where the Kneed-it, was supposed to hold. It didn't hold my knee straight at all and didn't help me with the pressure. I felt like this didn't help me at all, and I had to return it. Average Rating:![]() |

KneedIT Knee BraceReviewsI love this little band. It is easy to use, won't move once in place and is not bulky. I have not taken anything for inflammation since I got it. Having had six surgeries on my two knees, the product keeps my knees supported while i walk long distances or jog. Basically very comfortable to wear as well. Wonderful product - proforms as advestized. Knee pain and disconfort associated with workouts no longer exists. Very helpful. I'm a ballroom dancer and almost 70 years old. I've had 5 scope surgeries, but none sucsessful. I've tried all kinds of knee bands, but not much help. A friend showed me what she uses and I liked the looks of it, so I ordered one. It seems to help to a point, but if I over-do it, the pain returns. Worth the money for the relief I get. Average Rating:![]() |

Unique Air Cell Tennis Elbow BraceReviewsI purchased this as a second option to deal with my tennis elbow (my first purchase was Futuro Tennis Elbow Support (w / tension pad), One Size/ADJ, Black, 1 Support (Pack of 2)) Pros: Price, all foam (comfort), strong velcro, large air filled tendon pad. Cons: All foam- not very durable. After a week of wear, the foam is starting to come off in pieces. In short, I use this one for just casual wear around the house so as not to aggravate the tendon (I've even slept with it on). I use the Futuro band when I'm more active (actually playing tennis) or working in the yard. My optimal choice would be the Futuro band with this Air Cell tendon pad. Average Rating:![]() |

Bushnell Velocity Speed GunReviewswell my friends said i was throwing in the upper 90's so i got this radar gun and i topped out at 104mph i guess thats pretty good could not pick up a car heading straigh on,,, on a small plane from 200' or a baseball,,, sent the unit in to be fixed,, bot billed for fixing it,,, still doesn't work,,,, do not buy this product. I ended up using a hotwheels radar gun for $20... Works great on baseballs & softballs. I used the digital speedometer in my car as a test of the gun's accuracy. The gun and my car always agreed to within 1 MPH. The case appears to be very durable - the front end of the gun is rubber armored. I am perfectly satisfied. Be sure to read the instructions to avoid erroneous readings. Recently i purchased a Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun to test out it's accuracy. I have been in law enforcement since 1985 & i am certified in the use of radar.I read several reviews from customers on how they were dissatisfied beacause their radar gun did not work properly for one reason or another. My partners patrol car has a MPH radar & i decided to see just how accurate a Bushnell hand radar compared with it.I have 2 different speed tuning forks to test my MPH with & tested both of them on the Bushnell as well. The Bushnell tested accurate & gave the correct reading on both tuning forks i tested with.i then took it on the road & compared it against my partners MPH radar system against oncoming traffic & it worked as well matching vehicle speed with my MPH as well. Although i used it on traffic,it should work on any moving object such as baseball, softball, tennis balls etc.Just remember that these objects are of course much smaller than a vehicle & you must be in direct line of sight to the object to get a true & accurate reading of speed.I would reccomend this particular unit to anyone interested in purchasing one. Michael DeLano.CPSO,Auxilliary Deputy Sheriff Having read the reviews, and realizing that they were somewhat mixed, I took a chance on this gun for my kid. The price was irresistible. After about 6 weeks, we're completely satisfied. You do need to read the instructions...mainly about the need to measure the ball as it's coming towards you. If you measure from the side, you will get the wrong (low) reading. I hold the gun in one hand and catch my son's pitches with the other. Works great...and extremely accurate. Or should I say that it's extremely CONSISTENT? Through exercise, practice and work on mechanics, my (just turned 12 year old) son has increased his measured velocity from around 50MPH to 54MPH, in one mile per hour increments as you'd expect. The gun rarely misses a reading (make sure you hold the trigger down for the whole pitch) and the resulting number is always close to what I would predict from observation. (In other words, the change up really does clock in about 5MPH slower than the fast ball. And, yes, when the fastball's popping, the gun's confirming the higher speeds.) Overall, I'm very satisfied. We only use the gun once every 6 or so practices, but at almost every one of those sessions, my son has hit a new personal best. That's super encouraging and motivating for both of us! I have read that the gun may read low vs. Juggs. Since we're not comparing to any "goal" number or any other gun, that doesn't really matter too much to us. The idea here isn't to end up with a big number we can brag about...it's to improve. In that respect the gun is well worth the $75 or so we paid for it!!! Average Rating:![]() |

Headsweats Super VisorReviewsIt is difficult to find a sun visor with an elastic back. Most have the adjustable velcro connector. Very pleased with the item. I bought this visor for running because I was getting up there in milage and wanted some sun protection. Initially the price was right and the look was sporty but not too busy or trendy. Functionally it's been perfect. It keeps the sun off and absorbs the sweat from burning my eyes. I also have washed it with no issues thus far. Get one you'll be pleased. Thanks and God bless. I run in this in Saudi. Very comfortable and keeps the sweat out of my eyes. It does the job well. The brand name is reliable. My only concern is that it was a little "pricey." :-( Average Rating:![]() |

FuelBelt High Visibility VestReviewsI'm overall happy with this item, it lets plenty of air through and is definitely visible. I was a little disappointed with how loose it is. With elastic sides I was expecting it to be fitted, but the small size is actually quite loose. Of course you don't want it to be too tight or you can't layer it in the winter. The major issue with this is if you stick your cell phone in the convenient pocket on the back (there is only one pocket even though the ad said 2) then the vest is so loose that the weight of the cell phone pulls it down your back, so I have to keep pulling down the front away from my neck. That sounds really negative, but I'm pretty happy with it. I just got an armband so I don't have to use the pocket for my cell and it works just fine. If the belt used an adjustable strap rather than velcro, I would like that way better. When you sweat, it gets looser, and there just isn't a huge amount of velcro to adjust the size. I have had no problems with the bottles leaking. You just have to tighten them well. They're easy to get to, and stay put while running. You can open them with your mouth, and the bottles feel good in the hand. The little pouch is big enough for my flip phone, 2 plastic cards (credit, driver's license...), a key, and some cash. If you want gels, you could probably get two in there, but I just mix my honey and maca right into the water bottle and drink it as I go. The shaking from the running mixes it up really well. The belt is comfortable, and does not dig in. I don't forget it's there, but it's not bothersome. The weight is nicely distributed, and I prefer to finish the bottles in front first and leave the weight on my backside. If you are planning to lose a lot of weight, don't get this because you will be too small for it too soon. Get something with an adjustable strap. I would try it on in the store, since the sizes tend to run small. I normally am a medium, but the large fits better for me. I have had the four Flask Fuel Belt for over a month and am quite satisfied with it. The flask have not given me any of the problems others have complained about. The belt fits as it should which for me is the medium for a 32 inch waist. You cannot expect to keep running, at least when using the flask in the rear, but that does not bother me. If you need more than the four 8 oz flask carry, you will need to stop to refill and that does take some time. My only complaint would be a pretty small pouch for other items and all I can get in there is my cellphone and some money. I ended up attaching another pouch to carry some food. Happened to have one that fits well. If you know what you want and this sounds like it, you should be satisfied with this product. I absolutely love my belts (I also have a 6 flask). They are great addition for training runs or on race day. The 6oz bottle caps do tend to crack and not seal properly which can cause difficulties while running. I threw mine out and ordered the 8oz and 10oz flasks instead. The bigger flasks fit both belts perfectly and because of the different cap design, no more spills or lost water. Highly recommend the belt and an upgrade to bigger flasks. When I purchased the 4 Flask Fuel Belt, in read in most reviews that people uses it on long distance runs. In my case, I fill the bottles with water instead of Gatorade or so, and after 7 miles it's all gone. Probably because I run in a really really warm place (around 86 degrees F). But when running really early in the morning, when it's not that hot, I just drink the content of two bottles. It's kind of difficult to get used to the belt at first, because of the extra weight you're carrying and a little bouncing, but you'll get used to it quickly. I believe the belt will help you a lot with your training, specially if you live in a warm place and you need to get hydrated. Average Rating:![]() |

Wimbledon - The 2008 Finals: Nadal vs. Federer / WidescreenReviewsFortunately I had watched the match LIVE. But even so, one must buy this, concerning the quality of play so high!! Just buy it!!! I won't rehash what other reviewers have said, but did want to mention that I purchased this DVD from Best Buy and the picture quality was as good as any DVD I own - it looked fine. I was very hesitant to purchase this DVD after all of picture quality comments listed....however I chanced it and was glad I did. Perhaps they remastered it??? All I can say is that my picture quality is fine. Just as good as the original time I watched the match. Good gosh, this was awesome. I see this match before on my HD net work TV, and I think the match was very excited. How ever I am very disappoint for the quality of the British DVD. I mean if you want to record and sale the best match like this at less create a professional recording system. The picture quality is very poor. I think it below 480p.My VCR picture is better. There are no chapter section options. The commentary is the British which is not good. I wish he is John McEnroe. If you want to sale the DVD like this, let American Net work record them!! I kept hearing this was the greatest match ever played. Now I agree. So fun to see this classic match, though I was disappointed it wasn't U.S. sportscasters commentating and the camera angles shortened the court. They also don't do instant replays I'm accustomed to with matches I watch on ESPN or the Tennis Channel. Still, fabulous to see this match between 2 tennis greats. Average Rating:![]() |

Classic Cartoon Favorites, Vol. 5 - Extreme Sports FunReviewsThe DVD didn't work at all. I tried it in my DVD player and in my computer and it didn't work in either. Lots of fun. Ths kids love it. Baseball, Hockey, Basketball, Football, Golf, and Gymnastics. This is such a great DVD....and the words "classic" and "favorites" truly describe this DVD. It's so much fun to watch over and over again....fun for kids of ALL ages!!! One of the best of Goofy. When I was young (1988 approx.), my sibling and I used to watch it at least one in a week and we were laughing every time. Few years ago, I found it in a video store (like Blockbuster) and I rent it and enjoyed like in the 80's. I strongly recommend it for yourself or for your children. You're gonna love it!!! We bought this for our son because it contained the short "How to Play Football", which is one of my all-time favorites. As with most of the 'toons of that day, much of the verbal humor is subtle and goes right past the kids. My wife and I are laughing at the sarcasm, the kids are laughing at the visuals and we all have a good time. Average Rating:![]() |

The Wimbledon Collection - The Classic Match - Borg vs. McEnroe 1980 FinalReviewsAs the tennis essentials are probrably well known to all considering this dvd, I'll simply say this is a wonderfully produced dvd. The understated bbc commentary provides an interesting contrast to the hyperbolic american style. Also, with no commercials, the camera catches interesting personality studies of Borg and McEnroe on the change over breaks. McEnroe's endless relacing of his sneakers seems almost compulsive; Borg's impassivity strangely haunted. Great. Received earlier than expected. Great to watch one of the most exciting Wimbledon championship matches. Also fun to see how much has changed over the years. Somewhat underwhelming. There were a few good shots back then, but it's amazing how much faster, harder, and more exciting today's tennis is. You feel like you are really watching an antique. Low production values on the film as well. Boring old English announcers. Slow pace. But interesting for historical value if you are a student of the game. Borg was my idol when I was beginning to play tennis, so I have enjoyed watching this match. The editing was good, but it seemed that the frame rate was a little off. Borg and Mac seemed a little "robotic" like the editor decided to speed up time by about 15%. Still enjoyable. Considered by many the greatest final ever played at Wimbledon, this goes nuclear in the fourth set, culminating in a twenty minute tiebreaker featuring some of the most dramatic tennis imaginable. Borg was ending his peak years and Mac beginning his at this point; this match finds both at their best. McEnroe's serve and volley game was made for grass, but Borg's baseline supremacy is paired here with an unusual amount of volleying for the taciturn Swede, a must to counter Mac's amazingly consistent serve. Mac is rarely bratty here, and as usual CyBorg never blinks, win or lose. This is four hours of A-1 tennis over two dvds for a very decent price; the value is hard to beat, as the whole match is a master class in how to play tennis, and you'll want to watch the tiebreaker over and over, if just to psyche you up for your next match. Dvd tech is perfect or freezing a frame and watching a point in slow motion, to see how footwork and timing lead to great shots. Forget instructional videos; this one has it all. The BBC commentary is also rather humourous in spots, and thankfully far more understated than American network cheerleading. Not a sponsor or ad in sight, either, which makes this a wonderful rarity. Highly recommended. Average Rating:![]() |
